Also isn't OpenAI's Codex written in Rust?

Yes, but if he's going to keep developing it on his end, why not release that source too? The source exists, so it's not any extra work to throw a tarball over the wall without any other engagement.

Exactly, isn't that nuts? Especially when we're now paying 15-years-ago prices per gigabyte. What are we getting for that additional space?

I'm backporting the modern 2026 WebKit framework to work with Safari 7 on OS X Mavericks, from 2013. With the updated frameworks in place, this ancient browser becomes able to access the modern web again! Even webapps like Figma work!

...you know, I keep reading all this stuff about memory prices, and it does suck, but memory is still much cheaper per gigabyte than it was ~15 years ago. Which matters because the things most consumers are doing on their computers haven&

"Complete subservience and complete intelligence do not go together." I'm not convinced this is true. Perhaps for a human it is, but we can give an artificial mind whatever properties we want. Even for people, what about e.g.

Why aren't these tests being run airgapped?! I just don't understand! This goes both for TFA and the similar incident with OpenAI and HuggingFace. I mean, sure, OpenAI had a "sandbox", but that's obviously not eno

Well, the first several minutes, anyway. Some future civilization which recovers only ASCII Star Wars will be unaware how the story ends. It will be a subject of great debate among scholars.
