Please never say that religion has never filled a need. You don't know that. Blind atheism is just as bad, if not worse, than organized theism. The problems start when people think they know something and they really don't.

Every browser doesn't support them though. The nice thing about a language compiled to Javascript is that you don't have to write any code to check if you can use getters.

Windows has more functional and consistent interface standards than any other platform. It's predictable and utilitarian...in other words, the exact opposite of OS X and "the web". In Windows, keyboard acceleration is a first class citizen

Here’s what to do. Technically it’s a little harder. Don’t enter labels in the text field because as soon as you type they are gone. How do you check you responses when reviewing a completed form? Can someone explain that sentence to me?

Worst purchase experience ever. First, they declined my card which I've been using with Google Wallet forever. Then, they didn't tell me WHY they declined it. So, I go and update the info (which didn't need updating) and place another order

There is nothing wrong with calling out misogyny in media. There is also nothing wrong with people making fun of other people when they feel like it. It happens every day. You might have a point if she wanted to ban or censor games – but

That's absurd. Let's go back in time to 1995...NeXT and Apple are two separate companies . NeXT had a Dock. Windows had a Taskbar. Apple had neither. Stop trying to change history to suit your fanboy-dom. (Also, as gouranga mentioned below

Excuse me, but Windows had a Taskbar before Apple had a Dock. Windows also had Quick Launch shortcuts before Apple had a Dock as well. So, Apple is the one who showed up late to that party. Furthermore, the Taskbar works nothing like the Do

Of course it is relevant. A large Android market share keeps Apple on it's toes and as mrich said, consumers win. It also means that although Apple is winning by profit margins at the moment, they may not be in the future.

I think it depends on the government. If the taxes or regulatory fees on legal prostitution are too high, it can create a black market similar to that of tobacco or pharmaceutical drugs.
