> I also blame the Marimba ringtone on the iPhone — it became a sort of status symbol to let other people know you had an iPhone. I think this is the real reason why. I hate the marimba ringtone for that reason too lol.

Putting my "free market" hat on for a moment, the people who are risking their lives are in an advantageous situation for bargaining. To some degree, it worked too! Lots of stores and delivery services appeared to be paying more.

Eh, it'll do plenty to trigger the "You WORK FOR A LIVING and if you aren't working you should be eating shit!" people.

lol, out here in los angeles, they've been remodeling targets to look like walmarts - like using polished concrete floors and skinnier, cheaper looking checkout stands with flimsy conveyer belts. The most irritating thing was when they

The lampshade iMac was my favorite Apple design ever. The only problem - at least with the first ones, was they were TERRIBLE. We bought one for my brother as a birthday gift. It had an 800mhz g4 , a 15" screen, and a 60gb (I think?) 5

I feel like the last Mac Pro was similar to the cube in spirit, but not nearly as good looking. It's still tempting to buy one of them sometimes.

Eh, my favorite is the meme that San Francisco is covered in shit and homeless people. Oh yeah, and if you get on a bart train you'll get jabbed with needles and covered with poop by homeless people.

The programmers have as much of a right to be there as anyone else does. People who owned their condos and houses weren't pushed out, they usually sold to buy something bigger. That would be practically everyone my parents knew. (Edit:
