Yep, and pandering to the lowest common denominator means that complex things are probably impossible. Making a complex thing simple is the goal we should strive for. Edit: I forgot where I was going. Here it is: I don't understand why

There are ways to block those things at an OS level. However, I've given up on the idea of using an iPhone like a computer. Mine gets used for phone calls, text messages, checking my email, and when I need to look something up on a web

Oh man, some web stores are like that! It's sooooooo nice. Like, you place your order as a guest and at the end it's like "hey if you give us a password we'll make an account for you!" THOSE ARE THE BEST!

IIRC the amcrest indoor cameras I use are POE compatible and they were like $50. Is that what you meant about a hefty price premium?

Yeah, Apple is the opposite of a company that would bother with focus groups and surveys. The butterfly keyboard was a good example of that. The "You don't know what you want" model. It worked out really well for them for a w

I wonder if it was a bug in the way Windows handles "libraries". Like going to "documents" instead of going to c:\users\blah\documents. In fact I bet that's what it was. Maybe it thinks a USB stick is part of the &q

Half of your problem sounds like infrastructure issues and possibly not having a good workspace setup. I am super lucky and have fiber internet at home and we have an awesome VPN at work, so I can get <10ms ping to almost everything lol.
