The crease in the seat leather? I don't think any non-luxury brand would bother with that.

Some of those concerns look legit. Some of them seem like incredible nitpicking. I need to go try a Lexus or something so I can appreciate what a truly perfect car is like lol.

MS' support at their physical stores was fantastic. It's a shame they gave up on that. The phone support sucks if you have a hardware problem.

I think that's a pretty hardcore exaggeration. The last couple of times I talked to people from Apple (about getting a job there) they were pretty open about what they did and the tech they were using - and what they were looking for i

Last time I had comcast internet, they charged me a rental for a modem I never even received in the first place since I told them I had my own modem from day 1.

Yeah seriously. The company I work for doesn't allow corporate stuff on personal phones, but they do give them to everyone who asks for them. It's pretty nice, you get a choice of android or iOS phone and they just ship new ones o

I'm a little more open to taking a break from work to deal with household chores. On the other hand, I'm also a little more open to randomly taking a call outside of when I'd normally be in the office. Right now working from

I've been working most of the last 6 years at a rather small space company. After discussing work conditions with enough people who worked at other space companies, I'm pretty damn sure I'd never work in the space industry ag

There's also demand for the things that shouldn't need to be profitable, to be profitable. I saw a news article like a week ago making a HUGE STINK about how a bridge was "losing tons of money" when they looked at the br

Emphasizing diversity in your hiring doesn't necessarily mean lowering the bar. It may mean trying harder to find candidates. Of all the companies out there, Google can afford to be that picky. More importantly, they can look into why

A lot of malls I've been in have a "terms of conduct" sign near the entrance when you walk in. Similarly bizarre are the signs at the parking lot entrance that act similarly. I'll take that one further! Every street that

I think that depends on the person doing the interview. Like if I were interviewing someone, and discussing salary was part of my role, and they named an expectation 2x what we were planning to pay, I'd ask them why. Perhaps that'
