This is only true if a llm session would produce a deterministic output which is not the case. This whole “LLMs are the new compiler” argument doesn’t hold water.

I think people simply don't like to read or write. --help is probably as discoverable as it gets.

The public facing internet is done. HN has been fairly resilient (I think) but even it is beginning to buckle. It’s been sliding for a while but LLMs are the death knell. It was a fun 2 decades. Time to stick to private discords and real li

I'm sure it's a matter of interpretation. Anthropic thinks the DoW's demands will lead to mass surveillance and auto-kill bots. The DoW probably disagrees with that interpretation, and all OpenAI needs to do is agree with the

People will continue to retreat into walled, trusted networks where they can have more confidence in the content they see. I can’t even be sure I’m responding to a real person right now.

This is really hard to judge because by the looks of it, finance papers mostly consist of gobbledygook and extensive filler to begin with.

Meanwhile the areas where the coal jobs used to exist (or still do) just had their food stamps removed or reduced. It's such a charade.

Well that's the whole problem isn't it? It's not like the laws are simply "you can't make semiconductors here". The laws ban the harmful externalities of the process. The companies that want to make semiconduct
