Do you mean you want to know how to implement those operations on the hardware level (transistors or logic gates), or that you just want to be able to do all those things by hand? Those are very different questions. I guess I'm not sur

For Math.sin(Math.pi/6), I'm not sure. When I run it in Python, I get 0.49999999999999994, not exactly 0.5, so it could be that your implementation is slightly different, or that the printed value doesn't exactly match the i

I'm not a Java expert, but I'm fairly certain this is just a feature of roundoff error and how it propagates through computations, and how floating-point values are represented. sin(pi/2 + x) = cos(x) = 1 - x^2/2 +

This is just my speculation, as a mere Firefox user with no insight into Mozilla's larger strategy or financials, but it kind of feels like Mozilla is stuck in a Google-funded local optimum. Maybe this shake-up can provide the activati

I clicked around the website to try to figure out what this project is, and from what I can tell, it's one person (Dan O'Dowd) and he runs ad campaigns. Is there more that I'm missing? Also it keeps talking about this "D

In the United States, the government acting to protect citizens from themselves is generally not a good strategy and goes pretty strongly against the grain of the culture. We can agree or disagree on whether that's good (and for the re

I think the real concern is not protectionism per se, but the ability of China to run influence operations through TikTok (as you hinted at), which to be fair is a real concern. However, "banning" TikTok is pretty shortsighted and
