Basically, you store everything as integers. You can specify whatever precision you want, just by saying x digits are before the decimal. E.g. 1.234566 is 1234566. Rounding when needed(just be consistent), but you never round until the last

I use their dedicated servers and they just implemented automatic renewals in February. I don't know if that covers all their offerings though.

So is this: Humans reproduce. Trees reproduce. Humans should reproduce with trees. Just because something is logical doesn't mean it makes sense.

I remember years ago I needed to parse some html(which was about 2-3 million characters) and after a fair bit of time, I had it up and running with beautifulsoup. Now, my use case was likely quite atypical to most html parsing, but my god w

It has it's roots in the USD being the currency required to buy Oil (Petrodollar) and sort of builds from there. Some searches should give the information pretty easily, but it's a rather complex topic to break down into a quick c

Smaller companies will. Multinationals generally have in-house tax specialists to deal with all of that. Case and point: General Electric. Assuming by multinational you're talking about Fortune 500 and not companies operating in more t

I'd downvote you if I could. Partly because this isn't a job, and mainly because you're dishonest. 1. Why are you doing this? This project increases the talent pool for AI/ML which benefits both engineers and companies.

I have read them all, but thanks for assuming I didn't. You know why I have an attitude, having to argue these points with people who are arguing based on ignorance and not any knowledge or facts of the matter. Perhaps, not commenting

Ah yes, a pithy phrase from Wikipedia that isn't backed-up at all by the sources. /golfclap Here, read through all these, and then get back to me if you think you're still correct. Perhaps this explanation will make it cleare

No, no it doesn't. You two clearly didn't understand what I wrote. I don't how to explain it any simpler than I already have. Depending on the bacteria and the storage conditions of the canned goods, you might need to hold it

Just to nitpick that point in the article. You don't need high temperature. As long as you bring the contents to 100 celsius, all you need is time. They use what's called an f-value to determine at what temp and for how long they

I don't know if I'd say considerably. It all depends on what data you need. They have more fine-grained purchases than Bloomberg though, so it can be cheaper, depending on your use-case.

I'd have to take a look at their statements to see, but it sounds like they had some one-time charges that resulted in a tax benefit thereby reducing how much they had to pay in taxes, ergo the 5% rate. And since those no longer apply(

Mine is that it's a very simplistic analysis, and should just be ignored. Using the CPI which has been gamed, and changed so many times is the first large flaw. You know how that bag of potato chips stays the same price, but the weight

That's pretty much how I use C++. Granted, my knowledge of it is very minimal. I was forced into C++ because of my Broker's api so... One of my largest gripes making the switch, is the OO paradigm. I get it, I understand it, and I

C's syntax is simple, sure. But there's so many little things that can bite you in the ass very easily, which is why most people think it's hard. For production code, if you don't have a copy of whatever standard, and ar
