Dwarf fortress is one of my favorite examples of emergent behavior- the maneating carp, cat-explosions, cats getting drunk, etc. Actually, a lot of cat based bugs in general.

Discord implemented the same thing, and I'd like to see more systems do it too. It works really well, especially when users can swap usernames at will.

It's moderately interesting how these work, they basically check if you're connecting to a "new" tower. Another app is called aimsicd, I use it personally. Not paranoid, but there's no reason not to use it really. N

Hm, It's not really being too heavily "interfaced" with the body. I wouldn't stick it under your skin, but this would probably be fine I think. I'd also think that most things are unsafe in molten form, heh.

I'm kinda curious how tech companies are supposed to implement this. Send encryption keys to a central repo? If I encrypt a file, and store it on my phone, is phone manufacturer liable for it? I would assume not, but god knows how this

I agree. Military tech is the best tech, if it can spot a terrorist in a bush than it can, and should be used to find victims of natural disasters. Also, I don't think UAVs are the best option for mass surveillance. I mean, there'

You know what I'd prefer? An explanation of why exactly these things don't work. Not a page long rant that vaguely covers some problems and then goes on a tangent to the effect of "government makes me sad". Now, I'v

I think there's a difference between crimanal drug usage and illegal drug usage. I mean, if it's a warehouse with massive ammounts of drugs in-out, then yes, a raid makes sense. There are criminals doing illegal things in there. H

Suddenlink does the same thing-ish. Sometimes I get a popup that says "service outage incoming at XXX" at the top of the page- I ended up figuring out there was a checkbox for that sorta stuff in the account options tab. Similarly

That's one of the best parts of the google play store; the developer can directly respond to a review. It's pretty handy, and to me, as a user, it says the app is actively being worked on.

Huh, is that show coming back around? I kinda liked how they would spin current tech events, and the idea of an AI that spread itself over power boxes was neat to say the least.

What better way to feed false information into a computer than giving it to someone else? In all honesty, I think a security researcher would be more curious figuring out what they did.
