Directly coding concurrent stuff at all is highly unsafe. Haskellers prefer safety, not debuggers.

Its true that its difficult to build an working magical all-around wrapper, but the core parts can be replaced well. HTML+JS+HTTP is open to be LightwightMarkupLanguage + SupportedLanguage + NetworkWrapper, e.g. Markdown+Haskell+WAI .

As many pointed out, its a lack of motivation, flexibility and etiquette. * Instead of stoking motivation and interests, teachers often go the easy way and squeeze knowledge into students. Which leads to even more bored students with no cha

Do you really need to learn a another language, when you don't like its features? All general-purpose programming languages can solve the same problem.

Sorry, i counted in matches instead of turns. Of course, there is always a luck shot. But in a usual match with at least 5 turns, its extremely difficult to win for a less advanced player.

Actually, i don't like RTS much, because i often forget to do something important and quickly lose the game. It requires a good training in time and task management, which is a bit stressful. And the unit movement is often a micromanag

I took a look at the papers and examples before i posted my troll comment. Its nice that the syntax is simpler than in C-based languages, but its still OOP and you motivate people to think in OOP ways. I had some bad experiences with OOP. M

I'm not sure about the art and music making. Computers will make this too and not just better, but also personalized for your brain. I think, there will be a great depression, when even creativism becomes boring.

I try to program games. But because i have too big plans and work alone, i spend most of the time to write software that increases my productivity in writing software.

I also try to write a game since roughly a decade. But i'm really lazy, so i spend much more time in figuring out how to write a sufficiently good game in as few time as possible than to write that game.
