You’re delusional if you think the media kowtows to him. I’m not even going to post sources, a quick search will show even left leaning sites saying the overwhelming reporting is negative about him.

Don’t allow your skills to atrophy. If you get to a high position, it’s much harder to find a job at that level. If you can code, you can always find something. If you can’t code, and you can’t get a manager role, you’re in trouble.

Totally supportive of remote work before I make my comment to be clear. Calling this “survivorship bias” though is like calling anything in evolution “survivorship bias”. A person with a seriously work focused life is naturally going to exc

Your comment in a nutshell: > Is OP out of touch? Yes, because HN is definitely and absolutely a representative sample of the population and is never wrong!

If they choose to do this, hopefully they report the reason for the pull failure when you try rather than a nonsense 404 error.

So it’s bluesky this week? What about mastodon? What about threads? I thought X was going to die. I’ll just stay with X, that’s where everybody is, contrary to the bluesky cheerleaders here.

I hurt my back a couple of times over the years between squats and leg press. Each time I went to the doctor, they pushed chiropractor or the physical therapist. PT was useless the 3 injuries that I went for, and Chiropractor maybe helped

I moved off of NPM and tried Caddy since Traefik seemed complicated. The paradox was that when I tried to do more complex setups like authentik as a front end and some web books, I could never get them to work with Caddy. But with Traefik,

That first equation(statement? not sure what to call it?) in part 6 was enough to close it and say it’s not for me. This is written for a very small group of people to understand and enjoy. So to those who do enjoy it, have fun!
