Thanks for the link. I was actually building a blog some time ago. One of the fonts that stuck with me was Vollkorn. It's a heavy serif typeface. While good for headlines, I wanted it for body text. It works best in bigger sizes (20px

A* is not only a pathfinding algorithm, but a search algorithm. In my AI classes I used it for pathfinding, solving sudokus and other puzzles, and even to solve a job shop scheduling problem[1]. If you can translate your problem into a grap

Hum... I though the article was about something like the New Math[1] but... I actually learned math like that. (I'm from Portugal, and finished high-school around 10 years ago). Sincerely, I have no idea how the "old-fashioned way

I didn't know about Wtactics. Is it from the same devs? While I see the value of Wesnoth, it's not my kind of game. Now a constructed card game, that I enjoy! Browsing that website, I think the game rules should be easier to find.

Really cool! I might play with this a bit. Since tablets came around, I hoped games like this would appear. Everybody grabs their smartphone/tablet to play a game in a big screen. The tablet as a living room peripheral is an interestin

Laughter != mockery. From what I understand, someone helped the woman and then the laughter began. I assume the girl was uninjured by the experience. Laughter can ease up a tense situation. Cracking jokes helps generating that laughter. I

I sure wasn't expecting replies to my (angry) rant. To start, I later realised my tone was angrier than it should. For that, I apologise. The "out of the norm" comment really ticked me in a weird way. (I don't know why,

Like other users said, it looks a bit cluttered. I think it's because Lato has very narrow lines. My (amateurish) suggestion is either a typeface with thicker lines or a taller typeface.
