No one likes to sit in traffic, but I do wonder if such tools don't create too many additional problems, by increased traffic on minor roads [1]. Suddenly small roads, have heavy traffic, because it's 1-2min faster. Leading to mor

Can someone with more technological knowledge explain how this is still a problem in current year ? How is number spoofing still a thing? These can't be hard problems to solve.

I think the difference is, as a customer I don't care how dysfunctional their internal IT is, as long as the customer facing IT and support "works".

I'm just gonna link a few German articles. They seem to have reestablished their phone hotline by now, but I don't think they have changed their "move fast and break things" attitute. [1] https://www.anwalt.de

Sadly, business accounts are kinda all over the place. I use Kontist, but it's pretty basic. You could also look into your local Sparkasse, it should have everything you need.

It was (sadly) never uber green. It was always mostly coal based. These green bets you are talking about, just like e-fuels today, were mostly greenwashing gimmicks pushed by the industry.

Absolutely. That's why it is so frustrating to see the nations who can afford it (US, EU etc), still putting up or keeping unnecessary hurdles. Let's hope for the best.

Depending on what type of battery you use or how long you want to store it, it can be cheaper or cost competitive. But the same factors apply as well, production capacities are not catching up fast enough. Still, The end of fossil fuels is

Multiple factors. The grid infrastructure isn't always there, the upfront cost is often higher (even if it is cheaper in the long run), production capacities as well as the fact that battery storage is just starting to catch up.

Kinda. As an example, oil nearly everywhere gets huge subsidies. Just the industry in the US, gets about $10 to $50 billion per year [1]. But those costs somehow don't seem to matter much because oil is the default. At the same time, s

Why do people always try to equate climate-neutrality with poverty? Or that escaping poverty has to be co2 intensive? Those aren't related at all.

As always, it depends on the jurisdiction. The EU has the eIDAS [1] which allows simple signatures such as these for most form-free-contracts (the majority). There are however some, which need a digital cert and have to be encrypted. [1] h
