There's no reason it needs to be hard in my branch before it gets merged, though. And with the way Git stores information, sometimes you don't have any option but to rewrite history. e.g. when something changes on a committer iden

One thing the article doesn't explain well: why aren't any of the other chains competing with the UnSafeway near Deanwood? Even if it doesn't make sense for the chains to open a store in Deanwood proper, why aren't t

It's tricky to say if the Dow is really a good measure across time like that. Exactly two of the companies on it were there in 1950; the other 28 were added in 1976 and beyond. It's not clear if the price weighting really accounts

Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo all have physical releases for most of their games that they can't take from my cold dead hands. Valve has singlehandedly killed that market for PC games.

Bluesky waited too long to open up. They'd have seen a lot more takeup if they'd been available when Twitter started going downhill post-Musk. But they made a lot of their potential userbase write them off, which is going to stunt

Most if not all games also support the Pro Controller. The Joycons' uniqueness is more about the form factor than anything functional.

The newest Xbox model doesn't have any new features; they stripped the drive so they could offer a lower-cost model. And while the newest PlayStation model doesn't have a drive, they sell one separately. So physical games are stil

I don't rate Kobo's renderer very highly. When the user turns on justifying body text, the device ends up justifying everything , including headings, and it just looks awkward.
