OSM is showing what's on the ground so there are no dotted lines like with Google Maps. For example both the Golan Heights and East Jerusalem will be shown as part of Israel because it is the de facto ruler of those areas.

I found a nice solution to this with an MMO mouse. I have a Logitech G600 with 12 keys on the side and I mapped them to my most common operations like opening and closing tabs or moving between workspaces.

I'm not sure how Linphone is doing it but all the apps I used that required to run in the background were required to show a notification at all time. This is a terrible UX, my notification center is useless because I always have those

Have you really used a desktop Linux desktop recently? Sure it might have some problems but Fedora for example is in no way "a distant third in usability". I haven't used MacOS for a couple of years but I can say for certain

Apple prohibit them from saying that Apple made them block it because it's "irrelevant". So they must censor those message without any info to the user so the user won't know Apple is oppressing them.

4/5 of the examples the author gave have a package in Fedora. The one that doesn't (oh-my-zsh) is simply a git clone so it doesn't make much sense to package it.

Pastejacking is not the only possible attack by a compromised server, you can also change the content of the script when the user download it through curl or wget. Oh My Zsh use GitHub for their script so I trust it more than if they hosted

That's not a good comparison because many Linux advocates still have to use Windows and/or MacOS so they do know how it feels. For example, I used MacOS in my last job and Windows 10 in my current job and I still prefer to use Fed

Chromebooks can only install web apps, no? Then it's not like they ban other browsers, they doesn't run any other non-web software. Maybe it's possible to run Firefox through the new Linux apps option they added?

Copyrighted material is not a property so it doesn't make sense to act like it is. The goverment should give a short period of exclusive rights for their creation but it should be as short as possible.
