My 2 year old X200 has 1.3 hours battery time, decreasing rapidly. The display plastic is broken, the camera is broken and the mouse tracking nob is broken. It's the worst piece of laptop hardware I've ever had (compared to older IBM Thin

My take on this http://codemonkeyism.com/6-reasons-why-my-vc-funded-startup-... 1. We didn’t sell anything 2. We didn’t sell anything 3. We didn’t sell anything 4. The market window was not yet open 5. We focused too much on technology 6.

From my experience people can programm( ) or they can't. I rarely have seen someone "learn" programming. A CS degree has nothing to do with it. Becoming a good programmer is something different. ( ) Deconstructing problems into smaller prob

What I have learned: Take Munin (or your solution of choice) and install all plugins for infrastructure to use. It's hard to monitor too much, only too little.
