The difference is: Everything works with Chrome updates (plugins, configurations), everything is a mess with FF upates.

So you don't think a term emulator on MacOS X is useful to you because you use Linux. And the insight of your comment was exactly what?

Even if there are patents, I'm not sure how they explain the $15 value as part of the phone price (10% for smaller handsets?)

+1 for having more than one domain for your (user content generated) startup.

Not sure where there is really the news. With a limited number of humans and a percentage of social media users of X% of human population, this needs to slow. The slowing down seems to come early, but only because FB is such a huge success.

If someone gets read-access to this database he can log into my account independently of me reusing passwords (which I don't) or not. The problem is not on my side.

Is there a website that lists all services that store plain text passwords? (so one can avoid them)

The government did not waste the money, it gave too much to too many railroad workers, civil servants, teachers that now protest against the government that gave it money it didn't have in the first place. And no, debt is not the root cause

So there was no tax evasion by ordinary greeks? Only by wealthy elites? Not sure about that.

If Greece defaults, it will go down the drain badly. They will not get out of this as good as Argentina did. With no significant exports (that the EU doesn't pay for with subsidies) and living from subsidies and dept over the years, there i

No market "manipulated" Greek dept. The Greek government took more money than they could pay back and mostly spend it on creating fake jobs in the government. The submarine deal is only 1 billion euros, this is not the reason for the hundre

Not sure about the logic: 1. All banks are defined 2. Me: You cannot claim banks are the same everywhere 3. "Pretty much every country" == not everywhere So you agree, or you disagree? Sorry to stick with Aristotelian logic.

Might sound strange but: Yes it is. Since the first JDBC DB drivers it's common sense to use prepared statements and not build a query on your own. Because of this SQL injection is a much much smaller problem in Java codebases than in PHP o

As others posted, ZeroMQ and RabbitMQ are two different things for different use cases. ZeroMQ is a socket product, RabbitMQ is a message queue. It doesn't help that ZeroMQ uses MQ in it's name. Or perhaps it really means zero MQ :-)

I wish they would stop calling those data structures functional. Just call them immutable. It's the other way around. Functional languages use immutable data structures. One can use those "functional"data structures with any programming par

The difference is Node has an ecosystem of async 3rd party libs for IO drivers etc. Your evented web server is worthless if your IO (DB, File, REST, ...) is sync. Just as the difference between Java with the JDK and C(++) without any useful
