You will not only be stuck with 1.9, but every other library you use that is based on jQuery - and most in my stack are - can't be upgraded as I assume those libraries will not play conservative but switch to 2.0 (and 2.1 next)

For all the "just upgrade" comments: Internal IT departments have no, no, no incentive to upgrade browsers. "Surfing the internet" is not a reason for IT departments to upgrade.

No country is "defecting" the EU. Some talk about leaving the EUR. But even the larger leftist Greece parties do neither want to leave the EUR (which enables them to survive) or the EU. Why should countries - "poorer" ones - leave the Europ

PS: (The structural enhancement fonds for Greece was 20 billion EUR from 2007 to 2013, Greece was not able to take 15 billions from the fonds up to 2012) For growth in Europe: The next structural EU fond for getting countries with lower liv

(Disclaimer: German) "Austerity" is a media invention. Or what does "austerity" mean for you? The word is probably the most used word in the crisis, which is never explained by facts. What are those "punitive austerity measures"? This is no

A bit of a stretch, but I'd not call a car "engineless" just because it does not need another engine ;-)

The fanless heatsink is a fan. Duh. YMMV but I'd not call it fanless.

Irrelevant. What will happen though, the US has peaked in power, will censor more sites through DNS, Asia and Europe will be fed up at some point and the internet (DNS) will break up. In the long run power will balance itself with the amoun

Nice idea. Good to hear the app makes you money. I enjoyed the the way you could move cut&paste and drops to the side on a Newton, then change apps etc and move it back. Like storing it on the side lines.

(Disclaimer: I'm a Java developer since 1.0) For the same reasons that Sun had no nice theme and no nice icons for 15 years for Swing applications (do they now?) They are horrible thinking about desktop deployments, end users, marketing etc

How do you determine GDP is growing, when the official inflation is much below 25%? Wouldn't you need for real GDP growth subtract the real inflation number? Is GDP growth above (25%-Gov Number)?
