This is just an ad, but in principle I agree integration tests can usually bring more value (depending on the system, but in my general experience across many companies of all sizes).

Interesting and valid issue! I assume it's crowdsourced data from a community and just isn't that popular where you are, but good points.

Yeah I can get that - pre-packaged cooked chicken is easier than roasted rotisserie chicken from the counter even if it's probably worse (loads of additives and flavourings)

If I take two protein shakes with double servings I am not halfway to my daily goal, but sure it helps! I tend to have protein powder and greek yogurt for breakfast (with peanut butter) and a double serving after the gym. That, with a prote

I try calorie count with My Fitness Pal and holy shit it’s a lot of effort. Eat out and you’re screwed (estimated at best). When you include sauces and oils etc it’s really hard to be accurate in the best of times, and it’s just a pain to k

There was no deadline, the app stores didn’t need to remove it. The Biden administration said it would be left to the Trump administration to review, they had no reason to shut it down. It’s purely to force Trumps hand a bit.

I don't mind enthusiasm, but it's the way it's written so condescendingly of other languages. And you know it's just thinly veiled marketing to sell something (either a course, their services, etc).

I went on LinkedIn this morning and I saw four posts from people talking about how good Rust was compared to other languages and then a bunch of comments from people with crab emojis in their names. Four. Its community is insanely cult like

You test components in isolation, you test integration of components, you run simulations of the entire rocket, and finally you test the rocket launch. You’ll catch issues along the way, but you can’t catch all of them before a full launch

But what does that really even mean. What does 'commoditization of coding' literally look like? If you can't do a full app, what can you do?

I’ll work in tech for as long as it’s fun. But seriously, what’s a single good app out there that’s been written by AI with no developers involved? I don’t know of any. Not play apps, but real apps serving real users, with billing, subscrip
