I worked for Electronic Arts during the dot com crash, and EA's value was even or increasing through that peroid. Why? Because they made an actual product, with their own money.

That's because you compared a vive (current) to a DK2 (old). You couldn't possibly come to that conclusion if you tested a modern Oculus headset.

The control pad system is broken. It doesn't do what I tell it to, and often does other unexpected things. Firefox 43.0.1 on Windows.

Xcode chokes on large text files as well. A large file that VC++ can dislay and edit easily will be glacial to navigate and edit in Xcode.

The article says cycling is a sport for geeks. On the contrary, it has a long history of being blue collar, especially in Europe. If cycling is for geeks, so is auto racing, football, running, tennis, billiards, etc.

A quality product simply wouldn't have that problem. Quality means it can take some abuse, and you see it all the time in tools for many professions.

I'm pretty sure some OS people would take issue with that statement. Firefox has indeed been losing share gradually, but not due to their browser implementation. That's been improving such that I think the slide would be worse oth

Safari does seem to be the battery life king. I wonder how it manages to do that. Could be related to why it's a slower performer than Firefox and Chrome.

I don't like their hack, but the card reader could issue multiple attempts at the password verification in succession, with only one of them randomly being the one typed in.
