Warm storage with checksums and redundancy is the only long-term safe option. I would recommend making a pair of HFS boxes, that storage will last far longer than pressed cold media.

A pi is too small. But a cheap n100/n150 box will do it just fine and is very energy efficient!

Current Plasma is, in my opinion, the best desktop UX ever made - except maybe for windows 95/98, which is hard to compare on feature set basis.

IntelliJ has keyboard shortcuts for all of these. I think how impressed you are by AI depends a lot on the quality of the tooling you were previously working with.

Mostly balance and quality of life, the UI especially improved a lot. Better AI opponents as well, and a few new units that fit well within the rest (and improve balance between races)

Containers don't need to auto-open domains. You can simply use them to "color" tabs manually. That should cover your needs!
