Completely tangential, I never understand why people use URI instead of URL. He obviously means URL and goes an abstraction lower. You could also say without the corresponding internet uniquely scheme or whatever. Sorry for the rant. But I

Yes, that's currently what I'm experimenting with. This is very early stages and completely experimental. The idea I'm experimenting is to compile typescript to another form, I completely see your point about too verbose thou

What's the damage in knowing? I would say it falls under, good to know but be very careful. 2x performance is definitely not nothing if your corner case happens to benefit from this, if you prematurely optimize, that's on you.
