Just as some random feedback, I skimmed the site and had no idea what you do, I read it a second time with full attention and I'm still a little confused though I think I have an idea. Some examples / showcases would be nice IMHO

I am pretty tech savvy, read HN often and still use it. Partially, laziness, partially hard to change flows, partially hard to migrate, partially I don’t believe that it’s THAT bad, though the last one is the one I’m least sure.

I honestly don't get your point, you probably misunderstand me, we might disagree, but this is not the opposite case of whataboutism. This advancement is objectively good, it's one of the issues raised later in the twitter thread

This comment is the most egregious case of whataboutism I've seen in a while.

Let us assume for now that he was just curious :) It may also be how I phrased it, I still read HN and watch some YouTube and Instagram, from my phone just with quite strict time controls.

This is not quite related to the article but it struck a chord. I started losing weight around a year and a half ago. I lost around 68kg, or 149 pounds. I’ve been surfing almost every day for a year now. I also took some time off work and

What a strange word to use in that context, why would he need to be forgiven by you? How has he wronged you? Seems at worst, an honest mistake in a complicated topic.

As a more general suggestion, macOS likely isn’t good at imitating what you previously had, try to understand the workflow they’re proposing, adapt and learn it, it generally gets second nature and pretty decent soon enough, getting to work

Someone from Sweden please help me, there I learned that you can say something like “Ö in å” which means island on a river. (Im sure im butchering it, but I’m not to far away) Maybe you can make this look insane :)

> the work being done in Flash was leagues above the web games you see today. Wait, what? I’m not into gaming but that would surprise the hell out of me if you’re being literal. Can you give me concrete examples?

For me the sad part, is that they reacted to give what the community wants and that’s not enough. It pays to be negative here.

I am not trying to be obtuse, I literally cannot think of any literal common sense explanation of how an oak tree could know more things than you.

I don’t get what you’re saying, this isn’t a brag disguised as a confession, they are actually admitting to poor performance, of course it’s to eventually make users trust them, but a) I don’t see nothing bad with that b) they are choosing

This seems to go against everything a LLM is, how come ingesting more data will make it worse? It wouldn’t have got to where it is. There might be a limit, but rarely more data will affect it negatively. You seem to assume that it would be

Surf was a great motivator, cause I discoverers i loved it and it helps to be skinnier. But I’m kind of the just stop doing it kind of guy and this time it just worked. It’s simple but hard, if you just stop doing it, that’s it. I’m no weig

Thank you :) I really had fun making it and speed running it. It is also one of the few things I’ve made outside of work that got kind of popular for a little while and the ride was really fun. It gives me disproportionate pride and joy :)
