My guess is that this is still acquiring the email tech, but Notion has no interest in end-to-end encryption. They don't care for the customer base, since those are all with Skiff (partially) for the E2EE stuff. I'd bet they'

(I'm Dutch) I don't think this is true. It may have been true in some instances, but I can't find anything about that. Dikes are reinforced using rocks, stones, and tarmac.

A rewrite might simply make it more resilient through changes in the base architecture. However, I know nothing about Linux's bluetooth stack and I assume that it's probably taking into account a lot of those glitches already.
