It's a huge amount of video-game footage included in those "hours of video uploaded per-hour". So very, very little new info will be conveyed by the vast majority of the content.

I don't know why you are even arguing here. This is pointless. But either way, you responded to them first: https://imgur.com/a/Q7nFW8t Be better at this next time.

That was the entire point of the comment thread you are replying to. Someone mentioned prices should be increased to reduce demand, and here we are.

The content that his group puts out on YouTube is great. Been a little while since I caught up, but I was extremely impressed.

Which server? The one you have no idea about because you released your weights and anyone can download/use them at that point?

I'd say it is quite different than the usual doctor patient relationship. Wildly different in fact. In the usual case, the doctor is working on behalf of the patient and is optimizing for the best outcome for them. In this case, the do

As far as what 'API' to use, please just coalesce around the OpenAI API for your client software. You can start up an OpenAI compatible endpoint with vLLM for example. Just stick with that. You can use LiteLLM as a proxy to conver

I would be interested in seeing someone working on an example problem and attempting to describe their inner thought process while doing it. Could be an interesting idea to compile a range of developers doing it with various day to day task

For the simple country folk, a cow or horse pasture may have exactly what you are looking for. I don't condone picking unknown fungus from fields...don't go die from picking the wrong thing.

I went through a postgres 10 > 16 upgrade recently. What made it easier was just doing a test run of the upgrade process. Did a restore to a stage environment, worked on my upgrade scripts until I was happy (deployed to VMs with ansible,

I used to do the old pgdump for backups, but after using pgbackrest at work for years I see no reason not to use it for every cluster I want to back up. I like pointing it at an S3 bucket so I have another full backup repo (with its own ret

In complex environments it is not just a one off task. I dealt with it by automating my infrastructure with ansible, but without some tooling it sucks.

Nothing, they're unrelated. However, I agree with OP that SQL Server does have a solid upgrade story and it's generally pain free. They are just two aspects I really wish Postgres could do better on, and I miss working with those

You would be very surprised to see the workflow of DB heavy development teams. Some oracle devs have entire backends coded in pl/sql. My last company had an absolute ton of pl/pgsql written to support hundreds of ELT pipelines, mi

They have the capital, and are the ones who need the extra generation capacity now . They will share the cost along with the average consumer as EVs take up a larger proportion of total vehicles on the road.

This is de-risking the other way. It allows the energy companies to build their infrastructure without worries that they will get undercut by a competitor and be stuck with overbuilt infrastructure and no one to sell to. Without that commit

For the Postgres fans out there, it also kills performance on that side of the fence. You have things like wal amplification due to using things like UUID v4 (random prefix). I think v7 should greatly help with that.

You can't to chips any more either. Density has continued to increase, but so have prices. The 'law' was tied to the price to density ratio, and it's been almost a decade now since it died.
