I'd love to think it's post-irony or meta-irony[1], but really I suspect it's legit and they are trying their best. Bless. Feels like an order of magnitude more risky as an investor than Fyre festival 1: https://ww

OP's app looks more like Canva ( https://www.canva.com , which Spark is also a copycat of), especially the icons in the left nav. The timeline view is super neat though.

I'm not sure modern game engines make good use of large numbers cores, because most consumers don't have that many. Intel chips are still competitive for single-threaded performance, from what i can tell https://www.pcw

The politics of Brexit are also not very suitable for a HN on shorting the pound. By mentioning only the costs of remaining in the EU, not the ongoing benefits, you're being pretty disingenuous

I've previously worked for a company bought by Microsoft in the UK, and we (and all the MS employees I met) used Macs. The modern Microsoft goes to where the customers are. Yes, there was an old-guard that was very windows-centric, but

No way would the makers of the device sell one to Apple - they probably have strict measures in place to only sell to police departments, with contracts in place to prevent re-selling. Apple would have to buy one on the grey market, which t

I have a strong suspicion another example will be Magic Leap. Note: not as an intentionally-misleading or lying case, but just as another extremely well-funded startup whose launch is likely to fall short of the hype. $2.3bn in funding adds

If you can MITM the connection, you can just do it server-side, which is far more insidious. This was done in the UK + Brazil a few years back -- some ISPs (including British Telecom) trialled it without even telling affected customers that
