Bitcoin is not a commodity. Commodities have a real word purpose. Gold has inherent value by its uses. That's why you pay a damn fortune to acquire it. What real world use has Bitcoin ? None.

I agree, right now Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are nothing more than pure speculative assets. Until they're completely decoupled from other currencies and are used as a real national/international currency, I'll stand
