As I said, with xf86-input-synaptics I can't complain about my notebooks touchpad. Two finger scroll is ok in both directions. I don't really need the "genius" of mac touchpads as tapping on the touchpad will be a "left click", a two finger

I haven't used Mac Touchpads much yet, but every time I do use one the acceleration feels extremely weird. On my laptop the touchpad does pretty much behave how I expect it to behave. Also, a Netbook I bought 2008 or so had two-finger scrol

That's a false dilemma. Your choices: 1. Slight inconvenience 2. Strong inconvenience 3. Giving away "content" for free I propose 4.: No inconvenience for the users, charge as you wish and simply sue the people making money illegally off

By the way: Two of the games shown are Red Eclipse and Supertuxkart, both open source and - of course - run on linux. While SuperTuxKart is not that exciting, Red Eclipse is quite fun.

But I still don't understand the immediate outrage. I would much prefer an approach like this: 1. Test google maps on the mobile ie. Notice it runs acceptable. 2. Perhaps publicly, ask google why they have the redirect when it actually work

What's the big problem? Someone needs to write an X backend for the android system and then you should be able to run most libraries (compiled for x86) in a chroot or something.

Hm... haven't seen that before. You are right - when you go to "All" instead of "Downloaded". These are the ones like com.android.sharedstoragebackup or "Fused Location". If the names are cryptic and you don't know what they do I think they
