In my mind, the fact that you could find functions describing all past states doesn't necessarily imply that there's a function, in some ontic sense, that produces or predicts future states. Saying that implies a preexisting belie

I thought so too first, but I think that would be a quite difficult solution. Skin tone is supposed to only come after some specific code points. We don't want all the grapheme splitting algorithms to break, and it would really change

Didn't telegram just create some kind of broadcast rooms that you can pay to attend? Or clubhouse, or both? Maybe we'll see those kinds of features in signal too? Not saying I want that, I'm not a user of either of those apps

My thought was that it may help further an argument that the web user themself can choose and declare what type of ads they want to see if people insist on showing "relevant" ads. But perhaps have fewer than 33000 categories to ch

Could firefox (or chrome) not implement this and let the user decide what category of ads they'd like to see? Or choose to have it randomly selected per website? Or respond with some value like "random ad please".

Curious. In Swedish we say "konkurrerande" for "competing", I guess adev speaks a language that does something similar. In Danish they say konkurrence for competition.

Surely faster means higher speed, and speed is something per time unit, e.g. miles per hour, or number of scans per second. At least for me 100% faster does not mean the same as 100% less time was needed.

It's simple enough to Google "etymology eleven" to see that it is a base 10 word. Modern proponents of a dozenal system seem to prefer the words "el" and "doz" for eleven and twelve. I would totally be in
