While not as famous as Tor in Iran, for example, there are VPN implementations on GitHub, in addition to what rcthompson said.

I'd be willing to bet Windows releases another operating system after Windows 8. Whether it is the end of their dominance in the business realm is about the only thing up for debate, but the company is sure not going to file for bankruptcy

From the tone of the article, it doesn't seem so. They did say the protest was placated with imaginary pizza though. Hmm, like that would work :P

So this is a linked list that's ordered in two different ways? If I create a third pointer to reorganize the same data in a third way, can I patent that on top?

If this becomes mandatory for Google, I'd switch search engines. You may call it FUD if you wish, but I would either have to be logged out when making Google searches or risk having some of my e-mail with senders and subject lines revealed

I remember the first time I got tagged in a picture by a friend on Facebook. I deactivated my account immediately because it felt really unsettling that people were "checking me in and tagging" me at places I didn't even know I was being t

With a million and one blogs out there, you only get prestige and that great "this is a good blog" status if you have a high signal-to-noise ratio. Or you're blogging about the next Hollywood celeb breakup...but I think you see my point.

Yeah, I got a bad feeling when I saw that this company would purposely associate themselves with Zynga. Something does feel quite off. I have no comment on the legality, but I get the feeling a whole new demographic is going to be sucked
