It’s just a dns server, they use DoH themselves. If you are trying to intercept dns traffic that ignores your dns setting that’s a separate issue.

It will get worse with time. Now certain types cannot be blocked which will become more common.

Ubuntu had to basically patch every toolkit for it to work. Not maintainable.

Nothing. The ToS is not part of the license to the code.

Do you have a source for real world sites broken? It’s extremely rare for me and I exclusively use Safari and Firefox.

I don’t think they are thinking of that yet, the UI is barebones, they are working on the web engine mostly.

By default a flatpak has no permissions. It exposes ways to add permissions both statically and dynamically. So security varies.

Yes. I’ve used that in my software. App stores just require a policy.

I don’t know what problems they wanted to solve but one issue is browsers are trusted, views are not, so you have to workaround fingerprinting.

Even if not official, it is perfect hardware for SteamOS and probably works out of the box.

Its just an impossible problem. Apps like to make very custom interfaces. All of CSS is great. Platforms like consistency, so they maintain their own complex CSS. Users like to customize everything, so CSS is powerful but will always break

My concern is that consolidation has hit the industry pretty hard in the last decade and is only a bad thing for its future IMO.

Steam Streaming was what I used which was noticeably delayed, so I should try some alternatives.

I’ll try it when out. Marketing videos are not a useful way to test something like DLSS which is easy to mask the issues with things like low bitrate, slow pans, avoiding problematic situations, etc.

It uses a variant of the GPL. You can include it in any usage as a font, just modifications of the actual font are normal GPL.

DLSS is disappointing compared to actual resolution increases. It adds plenty of artifacts like shimmer, ghosting, occlusion issues. I’m expecting Nintendo to use it unfortunately.

Streaming in the same house still isn’t very good. Games are very latency sensitive.

It’s just compounding. If your environment is isolating and the internet replaces easy socialization then you become isolated. If your environment is low friction for socializing it is less likely.

If that’s where the group is, you refuse to be part of that group. Nobody is going to inconvenience themselves for an outsider. There is obviously variety is what tools groups use though.
