The OSM images that tcard used are from openstreetmap.org, not from the iPhoto app. My understanding is that Apple used the data from OSM to produce their own tiles, which, I believe, look much better than this.

What I don't get is what this means: "Previously, you’d have to queue up each one individually. Now, you can send up to 30 photos at a time in full quality, again over 3G or WiFi." What is "previously" and what does "at once" mean? The band

I was at a conference last year where the SVP of Network Services for NYSE/Euronext (Andrew Bach) was talking about their growing data and bandwidth needs, and they are pushing the envelope. They need something very reliable obviously, bu

One option that was left out is to wait for it to drop and buy it then. You can use a service to try to catch it when it drops but you then enter into a bidding match, or you can just wait for it to be completely released. Obviously more ri

There is also a Growl clone. Surprised this took so long. Then again, I personally don't like Growl, so I hope nothing depends on it being turned on. It seems that Apple adopted a similar model as Notifications Center on iOS in that you c

Actually it's worse than that. You're not happy with the fact that the Search input is too close to the "Sign in" text. But the "Sign in" page asks you to type your name and then be offered the "sign in with…" option you used when joining.

The sharing "widgets" like this one fall under the category "do people really use those?" for me. I don't think I care to see the number of tweets, likes of an article I'm already about to read. Most likely if I opened the page, it's that I

To be fair, shouldn't the first scenario be offering $70k as well? Otherwise it's biased towards the premise that you should say a number second. In that case, let's say you want $125k, and the company offers $70k before you say how much yo

I know what you're saying, but sales guys benefits from the perception that they're solely responsible for the close of a sale. That's their job after all. So the $5M in sales? It wouldn't have happened without them! (that's the perception)

One thing I often find in salary negotiation advice are lines that go like this "At my last company, I increased sales by 3% by $YADDA_YADDA". The thing is that I can't really think of nice metrics like this, and am surprised that a lot of
