I'm not saying changing the native code, but with the same native code building a different interface from some kind of description file that could be updated remotely. Maybe Apple would not be happy about that, but I don't know if they'd b

It looks nice but it also looks very busy. One thing I will never understand though, is a design that includes infinite scrolling and a footer. I finally got to the footer because the refreshing locked somehow, but it seems that it's just

This data seems pretty useless for the most part. Median salary without taking into account the location is meaningless. On page three, they try to separate regions but "Pacific" is certainly way too wide a region to get anything from it.

Well, that's kind of silly. Not a huge deal, but I listen to my podcasts through a playlist that gathers all the podcasts I subscribe to, so it mixes it up a bit. Sounds like it won't happen anymore…

Question for Ryan: I know you said you work 4 days a week at Treehouse. How well do you respect that? Do you do any kind of work during the weekend or just errands, relaxing and family time?

Most people don't actually take that time, even if they could easily find the time. (I, for one, don't take the time, even if I end up clicking on links on Reddit like a zombie at the end of the day) So having it on a schedule isn't a bad t

Oh wow, you're right! I've always thought you could use a verified phone number as the "From" number, but it turns out that's true only for phone calls, not SMS. From http://www.twilio.com/docs/api/rest/sending-sms : Parameter Descri

I found the videos amusing, but I was expecting the post to go in a different direction. More specifically, I had thoughts at some point of a Twilio app that you could set up to send some SMS on your behalf now and then. (similar to http:/

Regardless of your opinion on Netflix's decision, announcing any negative news on a Friday afternoon (though I'm not surprised they did so) is bad form.

I kind of agree for the "drag to reorder" in the stocks apps, but this doesn't work for Facebook and Bootstrap. For Facebook, it doesn't work because the grip is not the in the correct direction. The grip is a skeuomorphism for real grips t

It's somewhat possible though not very widely used. Basically, any iOS app can register a URL scheme and be opened with that scheme and anything after that by another app. This is used for example by Camera+: http://api.camerapl.us/app-a

I don't know how it is on Android but on iOS for example, you can make phone calls only the Phone app. For example, the Yelp app gives you the business info and when you tap the phone number it switches to the Phone app. For the most part,
