If the cooking is under 10 seconds, you might as well start it for 10 seconds and stop it when needed. You won't have time to turn around and forget about it. If it's over, I doubt a one-second difference will make one (difference

I agree. It just doesn't always happen. I'm guilty of leaving too-short commit messages and not enough commenting as much as some of my teammates.

GitHub’s functionality around PRs (such as inline commenting, replies, notifications and diffing) is excellent for facilitating code and design discussion I agree but one thing I've realized recently is how all the history and discus

Instead of just driving to some far away place and come back, I'd pick a mailbox that's close to something where you might go sometimes but that's not close to your house either. For example, you could go to Ikea buy someth

Do you mind to elaborate? Because I've never heard anything about that and my (admittedly short) googling didn't bring up anything relevant.

Fair enough in general, but I don't think my conclusion of "Twilio's API runs on Flask => Flask is very reliable" is too far-fetched in the context of Twilio, whose whole business is their API. To be fair to your skep

Twilio uses it to run their API. So, that must be very reliable. "Flask-RESTful was initially developed as an internal project at Twilio, built to power their public and internal APIs" http://flask-restful.readthedocs.o

You're absolutely right, somehow I read "this pales in importance to that" backwards. In my defense, I'm tired and a non-native speaker. That being said, I still find it odd to bring up the inconvenience of not being abl

I joined AdRoll just over three months ago and it's been great. Great, smart team with a lot of energy. No ego, no bullshit and good company values. A+++++ would get hired again.

It seems to me that the problem is that the backend is treating the XHR like if you were hitting the main site. So sometimes (but not for all endpoints I think), if I were logged out, the XHR would be redirected to the login page. To me, th

I find all these new email products (Sparrow, Mailbox, etc.) interesting on a UI/UX level but they're highly irrelevant to me. I always read about how hard it has become to manage one's inbox, but I really don't have a problem with it. My s
