I'm an introvert and sick of the increasingly closed off world. I come from a place where casual, but ultimately meaningless chats happen all the time and I enjoyed them. They were simple interactions where it didn't really matter

The "people" at the top in charge want nothing less than the population to be poor and dependant. There's a reason they've done everything they can to suppress wages and eliminate good jobs. Despite that here on HN you h

> Stop whining, be happy about what you have. I'm not whining, but I do think you should try to understand why people end up the way they do because it's almost never as simple as them being a bad person from the get go. Attitu

Why not? Stimulants are the best thing known to man. There's a reason people enjoy them so much.

It is without a doubt. It's baffling to me that people smoke when things like snus exist. Far, far safer than smoking, much cleaner, and it doesn't impact those around you. Nicotine is a great drug that the world largely insists o

On one single occasion I said this at work without thinking about it. I'd been working exclusively with Indian devs for months and it just slipped out. Thankfully it was taken well.

My only reaction is: so? Silencing people isn't going to make them stop thinking things and preventing discussion won't make them Good(TM) people. The entire internet doesn't need to be sanitized.
