Isn't most of the work done already with LLVM intermediate representation? Stick to POSIX (and Qt if necessary) in the code, distribute the IR with a compiler which compiles and installs it, and job done.

I like to think of those more recent PPC Mars machines as Nintendo GameCubes with robotic arms and eyes. Same G3 processor family, afterall. Well, at least they should be able to browse the web with the G3 version of TenFourFox. ;)

Articles like this are one of the main reasons I regret not pursuing a profession in entomology. Excellent article, nicely detailed. I wish I had access to the equipment and facilities used to make this amazing discovery.
