Good to know. I'll look into it and add it as a suggestion to remove it on my Ubuntu tips/tricks website. Thanks!

Any way you have some proof? I At this point I honestly don't doubt it, but I'd like to see some technical data.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure it's Facebook. They are the ones tracking everyone, including non-FB users, via a tracking cookie the moment you visit their site after all... And you know the feds just love that data that FB can acquire.

I just tried out 2.0.4 (and Bootstrap in general) for the first time an hour ago. I'm already obsolete!

I'm on chromium 22 on linux. Maybe you need to go to the about:flags page and enable "override software rendering list" for your browser to use the proper acceleration on the page. That's what I had to do for my old Inspiron 1545.

The title has it right. I never knew this existed, but it seems like something I've been looking for... Is it worth trying out at its current (open) state? Or is it just another failed Google Lab experiment?

This is better than pretty much all similar projects I've seen. Might implement it somewhere. My usual password for sites gets 46%, which I guess I'm fine with.. The password I use for my TrueCrypt password easily gets to 100%, so I'm cool

Just did this on an old Inspiron 1545 with Ubuntu 12.04 on it and I'm already noticing major improvement in both boot time and the apps I open frequently (also with the help of preloader and zram) I followed this guide: http://www.howtogee

Very cool, almost comparable to Aviary, but I can definitely see why it's considered "experimental." Trying to make a something red ended up blue, and a mess of other bugs. It also suffers from Chrome (webkit) highlighting parts of the page

Well this sucks. I just got into Draw Something yesterday and have been a fan of OMGPOP since Iminlikewithyou (hipster), but a company like Zynga does not deserve this game, or my attention to it. Zynga is well known for being theives and g

This is a serious question that I hope gets answered: Is it possible to tell Linux (or Windows I guess) to immediately crash if you boot it up and are either 1) not connected to the internet or 2) not connected from a certain IP address. Th

I recall using this design a year or so ago.. and I was really hoping they'd change some things about it (mainly the ugly green everywhere..) Unfortunately that's not the case.. Functionally the site is better than the current design though

You should read this: http://www.chromium.org/developers/design-documents/software... I reference that in your mention of 3G bandwidth usage. Chrome updates should be fairly tiny and bandwidth-friendly. Not always, but more often than not
