I think with how unergonomic airplane seats have gotten, there's a real health benefit to minimizing the time people are crammed in those cramped seats. If they made airline seats reasonably sized and ergonomic, sure, the flight time m

Most conversions are things like casts to enum types or aliases I think, which never are O(n), like: dur := time.Second * time.Duration(2) headers := http.Header(map[string][]string{}) httpDir := http.Dir(filepath.Join(p

I think the key thing missing from go slices is ownership information, especially around sub-slices. Make it so you can create copy-on-write slices of a larger slice, and a huge number of bugs go away. Or do what rust did, except at runtime

I want Apple iMessage to be clearer on iOS. Right now, iOS users can't as easily understand the difference between iMessage and SMS, and I think it would make what's happening clearer to users if the apps were separate. If you ope

That's better than the current option. If people want to group SMS they should open their phone's SMS app. If people want to group iMessage they should all open iMessage. If people want to chat on signal, they should all open sign

All the other messenger apps you can use on iOS, like whatsapp, telegram, signal, etc, have no degradation with android users present. Why can't apple publish an iMessage app for linux, windows, and android? Telegram and signal have no
