I saw your other message in this thread. Life changing arrests? Are we discussing the same topic? My previous statement stands. There are definitely more parks geared towards kids in suburbia today vs. 30-40 years ago.

I don't necessarily believe canonical MOND is the answer, just that it seems more reasonable to me to assume we don't have the Universe completely figured out and accurately modeled just yet vs. being emphatically sure most matter

It's also safe. There is no reputational risk because "everyone" (who matters to you professionally) already agrees with you. There isn't much immediate upside to sticking your neck out. Especially in the era of social m

Which best satisfies Occam's Razor? 1) The vast majority of matter in the Universe is invisible. We've tried looking for it in a variety of ways for decades but we can't find it but we're sure it's there. 2) Our mod

I think a significant aspect of this specific problem is that a notion of a "field" is very difficult to translate to everyday language no matter how easy it is for a physicist to conceptualize and model with math. Similar to comi

I'm convinced in a few hundred/thousand years scientists are going to be urging politicians to figure out how to pump more CO2 into the atmosphere due to cooling from cyclic perturbations of Earth's orbit. Too bad I won'
