Actually, that is the way capitalist economies work in reality. This is a lot of crying for attention. If he wants to have a commercial use case, he should get a commercial circuit.

If he is using the circuit for work, then pay the additional cash and get a commercial class circuit which is, effectively, uncapped. He already had one disconnect and chose to ignore it rather than take appropriate steps to modify usage.

Looking only at that diff, the fix is a break. It inverts the sense of the test so that the authenticator of the packet is used even if the tag is null.
