All of those countries have cheap or free higher education and healthcare. Perhaps they don't need wages as high since their government chooses to cover two of the largest expenses an average person will encounter in their lives.

Huh, actually just noticed the sign for their new office space this morning on my way to work. Seems strange that they're attaching this to the Kendall Square brand when its basically in an entirely different neighborhood.

It's actually decent in the Boston area: community events, discussion about redevelopments and things like service recommendations. Hell, I've seen a couple folks find temporary housing after fires/floods through the thing.
