Arguably, different responses would increase replayability. I'm not suggesting to let LLMs create important parts of the game. If you want that, you can already play AI dungeon since 2019!

If you give the LLM more context (i.e. the player's past actions) and some directions such as "don't make any suggestions", I think you can get good results. Yes, they may not always be perfect. For the types of response

Isn't it true though, when you do something the author didn't anticipate, you get a set of standard responses? If not, perhaps it's already using a LLM?

You will have to read more text as a result, but hopefully it is enjoyable. It's as if the authors of the game had anticipated your action and wrote something interesting. # take mirror Here are responses that gemma 3 27b just

There is perhaps a need for a fork because of their recent removal of features (unrelated to today's post): https://github.com/minio/minio/issues/21584

One part that's kind of boring when playing a text adventure is trying things the original authors did not anticipate and getting a boring standard response. LLMs could make this part more interesting by adding more playful, hopefully

For many projects, this is already possible. 50MBit/s of upstream bandwidth is not that uncommon if you have something better than DSL and that's probably the bottleneck.

If you compare DGX Spark with Ryzen AI Max 395, do you still think that $4000 for the NVidia device is very competitive? To me it seems like you're paying more than twice the price mostly for CUDA compatibility.

It's the right decision: Android is mostly open source and works well. Not to mention that in real life, right now, people need access to certain apps as a firm requirement. Have you seen the attempts of past "Linux phones"?

Amazingly, you can also do it on smaller hardware! From the readme: All code will run just fine on even a single GPU by omitting torchrun, and will produce ~identical results (code will automatically switch to gradient accumulation), but yo

They're in a different ballback in memory bandwidth. The right comparison is the Ryzen AI Max 395 with 128GB DDR5-8000 which can be bought for around $1800 / 1750€.
