If we follow this (obvious as you say) line of thought, can you read the code while at work? Isn't that a use of the copy (your browser made) for commercial purposes? I don't think this is what copyright is about. As far as I know

I'm surprised no one here is arguing in favor of Russia's actions in Ukraine. Russia has 140 million people. How many of them are in favor of their government? Shouldn't some of them find their way to Hacker News?

The "BENEFITS" section suspiciously leaves out the one thing most guys mention when asked why they wanted to become famous: Improving your success in dating. I wonder why?

I have switched one of my sites to cookieless analytics and it is bad for everybody. I can't even say how many users this site has now. It could be the same user coming back over and over. Or many users. How would I know. Yes, I could

I'm using a self hosted Matomo instance. Setting it up was easy. After some time of using it, I now like it even better than Google Analytics. Is there any reason for me to try out one of the others?

I tried Matomo. Self hosting is easy. That's a plus. I also like the interface. Took a while to get used to it but after that, I liked it even better than Google Analytics. But one problem that seems unsurmountable is that it tries to

In my experience, the mobile connection is very flaky on the trains in Germany. I would think the train can have a much more powerful antenna to talk to mobile towers and then relay that to the passangers. So that WIFI is better than mobi

The problem is that in Germany, the city-to-city trains that can be used with this ticket do not have WIFI IIRC. Can anybody confirm this? Traveling time without WIFI is a much higher burden to me than normal traveling time, where I can wor
