Genuinely love this little thing. Its API is really ergonomic and it has plenty of things that are missing even from libs like SDL like some nice filesystem utilities. I'd consider it the Godot equivalent for C programmers.

Disappointed that this isn't "therapy from burning things". I want combustion therapy to be a real thing.

This looks pretty cool. Are there any plans for binary file management or is that out of scope?

That's pretty impressive. I'm glad I archived most of my old teenage game/comic notes. I got burned with websites dying at a young age. Also, funny that this comes to light around the release of Slayers X; A game with a simil

I recall reading that SAL was patent encumbered but I can't for the life of me find the actual patent. I remember it coming up in the llvm forums though..

Err. Isn't the quake engine owned by Zenimax who are owned by Microsoft. That's a big if. Also, I'm not sure if they could even grant such a license considering all the third party gpl contributions...

This is really cool. I'm personally most interested in the event scripting system as there's not a lot of documentation for developing those for systems with constrained ram (where you want a lot of stuff to be stored and read dir

On one hand: I am sick of banks and pseudo banks (Paypal, Stripe etc.) fucking about the digital payments space. On the other hand: I am 100% sure that the UK govt will reimplement these hurdles and add their own.

I think this is missing the forest for the trees. Labour have openly endorsed all the "child protection" internet laws pushed by the Tory government.

I'm interested. What sort of regulations do you think would affect the robo-lawyer space in the UK? Self-representation is frowned upon and mostly disallowed. Lawyers are expensive. I'd genuinely consider having ChatGPT fight for

Huh. I didn't know that the old PC-98 Touhou games used C++. I always assumed that Zun used C - possibly including some custom ASM - due to the relative low power of the PC-98. (It's a custom 68000 machine in the vein of the Amiga
