I'm in my early twenties and I have never owned a printer and likely never will. I have always had access to them at libraries, my university (which is when I actually printed a lot of stuff), work, etc. I can't imagine ever needing to get

How will you ever be able to print transistors, capacitors, anything made of metal, or most anything useful? Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of cool uses now for very specific things like robots, prototyping, or medical things, but the

I completely agree. I keep hearing people talking about printing electronics, car parts, and all kinds of ridiculous things. Yes you can make plastic stuff and molds etc. but no 3d printer is going to be able to make a blueray player or any

Yes, I'm sure a man who is likely a father and husband, suicide bombs some place so that you would have to live in fear of being molested by the TSA. That makes sense.

I don't like Eclipse because it doesn't do the stuff that a basic IDE is suppose to do either at all or very well. Perhaps you have noticed that when you type in Intellij, it actually makes good suggestions and auto completes properly.

It's disturbing that some people need to be told to have hobbies and have fun. It also seems like a lot of CS oriented people don't realize how much fun can be had away from electronics. EE stuff, CS stuff, video games, pet projects, etc. a

What a silly law. Why don't we fine people $50,000 every time they do anything irresponsible or dangerous. Surely that would make our society safe and responsible! Seriously, no one is going to pay heed to this law because how would you ev

My college was like this as well. I think the basic idea is that you will sink or swim. If you can't make it in the program then that's your problem. I don't really see the point in limiting who can take part in the program. They get my mon

It all depends on where you live. I doubt where he lives (Longmont CO) is that expensive. There are plenty of places in the USA where 25k will go a long way. Remember he has no mortgage and other debts. If he has relatively low property tax

Preach it. I can't find a decent Ultrabook. It's amazing that there are so many that dont even have at minimum a 1080p screen. That really should have been part of the Ultrabook specs. What is really astounding is how completely clueless OE

Arm exists because they went after a market Intel didn't care about. Intel was slow to react to the shift in market, but they have reacted and they are focused now. It is only a matter of time before Intel dominates the market. Their latest

I agree. The intuitive way to zoom in is to move your face closer to the screen. Pinching a screen makes absolutely no intuitive sense. People learned it by accident or because they were shown.
