I can think of a few strategies, alongside the other good ones people mentioned. 1. Reduce your initial expectations. When you start something hard and/ or new you will be awful at it. Just acknowledge that fact and move on. 2. Focus

Interesting that you mention the shift of the center of gravity. I would add that there are multiple competing shifts. Flushing, for example, has now become a viable, small city within New York City.

I have the IKEA Skarsta desk too. I am 6'3" tall. Yes, it does wobble a bit. It wobbles less if all pieces are tightened well. For me it is a non-issue even at full height with my laptop. Overall, it's a solid purchased
