AFAIK, indexed search was part of Vista as well. Incredibly slow compared to locate on Linux though. I haven't tried locate32 myself.

I've never been successful with the home row method, I'll admit; it has always caused severe pain in my wrists. That said, I can type at least 90 wpm without looking at the keys, and that suits me just fine.

Wow, this takes me back... I remember reading this ten years ago or so. Still basically holds true for modern MMOs, I think, and they often do a better job of accommodating the different types of players than the old MUDs did as a result.

For todo lists, I've been very happy with Toodledo ( http://www.toodledo.com/ ). The free version suits me just fine, and I use it in combination with the free webapp for the iPhone. Unfortunately, the iPhone native app isn't free... Good l

Arguably, there's an element of discrimination here too. Large American and European corporations and governments have plenty of IP addresses. (For a start, have a look at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_assigned_/8_IP_address_... )
