People like definitions that have clearly defined boundaries but biology is not like that. There can be a messy continuum between is and is not. Things can match a definition strongly by some measures but miss some that are critical to how

I have never allowed anyone to expect that kind of responsiveness from me, especially 24x7. The closest you get would be phone calls from my spouse and even then, if I’m in meetings I may not respond an hour or so and that’s not a cause for

Possibly, thanks to assholes as depicted in that video (which may be fictional). Apple does not want the liability or reputational damage from enabling someone driving a car and getting into a wreck, even if that prevents some other uses.

I see a lot of arrangements that put the compost and recycling bins/hole in front and put the trash further away. I guess the idea is that you should try to decide that something should be composted or recycled before you decide to thr

Do people really want to quit their smartphone? I certainly don’t. It connects me to people, provides information, and lets me capture information when I want to. I do not feel overwhelmed by it. I do restrict notifications to specific apps

We all have abilities. Some of those abilities are anti-social and destructive. We use society, laws, regulations to set bounds on those abilities. Under these new regulations, it is clear that Apple would not be allowed to remove apps arbi
