For sure. Most cars today are more reliable than cars 20-30 years ago. More cars are lasting well past 100K miles and often 200K miles. Sure you have some few cars that have survived since ‘98 but they are not numerous.

I put a plastic item in a stainless steel bowl and added bleach. I left it for several days because I was trying to remove some persistent stains from the item. When I checked it, the bleach had corroded through the stainless steel. I would

Being heavier plastic is good in a couple of ways. It makes them less likely to blow away from containers and get into the environment. They are less likely to float in the ocean looking like the jellyfish that turtles and other animals eat

That sounds like you have a very top-down organization and they have setup Slack to mirror that dynamic. Slack by itself does not have those restrictions. Individuals can create Slack Channels (often too many channels). You can setup adhoc

I've heard neutrons described as a union of a proton and an electron based on masses. The reality is probably much more complex.

CO2 to fuel only works for special cases where batteries are infeasible due to weight of the batteries like a plane or weight of a vehicle like large industrial equipment, trains, and ships.

Then there are neutrons that are like protons with just a little bit more. It's sort of like infinity + 1. Is it bigger or is it equal? (I know, infinity is not a number, really)

The mechanics of a drop are complex. The phones are designed to distribute the forces and survive most falls, but there are ways that the phone can fall where it is very hard to prevent damage. Falls on the corners or edges tend to just scr

I’ve seen sites with both a footer and infinite scroll. It is amusing an infuriating to get close enough to the bottom of the scroll area to see the footer peaking out just before the next block of content loads and pushes it out of sight.

EV batteries are not being disposed in a landfill. The relatively few that have failed are mostly stored right now as the processes to recycle their materials are brought into production. The volumes are too low right now for a full industr

Because there is more than just a camera. There is the camera, two sensors, and some mounting hardware. It all adds up to some space. The specific size doesn’t really matter especially if you use Bartender to properly manage the app icons.

All designs involve compromise. That doesn’t mean that those designs are bad, just that they are taking into account factors which are in opposition. Factors such as size, capacity, function, and legibility are examples of the kinds of oppo

There is also the mounting hardware. It’s not an unreasonable size for what it contains. If they were to really redesign the module they might shave a little off of it but how impactful would that reduction really be?

This is a “problem” that existed before the notch was born and has been fixed with Bartender (and clones) for several years now. Anyone with lots of app icons would run into situations where the icons would not all fit on the menu bar. Bart
