A "missed email?" Really? I fail to see how someone so "exceptional" would be let go from a missed email. I get HR deadlines and such, but is this Apple being Apple or was he simply not valuable enough to make an exception?

Startups are slowly but surely getting more power/respect when fundraising. This is excellent, and hopefully the "heavy-handed VC oppressor" will go away for good some day...

I've heard many times that Google's 20 percent time is going the way of the dodo. Don't work at Google or anything, just heard you really have to push to get it now.

You're right they do, but the concept of "market value" salary is laughable until after Series A at least.

I've never understood the subtle negative attitude towards the fact that founders get most of the equity. It's like everything else in the world from investing to gambling (some would say they're the same). The higher the risk, the higher t

This is awesome. I love the Celtics, but I had to go search all the players out manually when I wanted to follow them. The only problem is most NBA players don't exactly give you...substantial...information in their many tweets.

People need more of this. The Lean Startup methodology doesn't mean "oh shit things are getting hard, we gotta PIVOT." Although unfortunately a lot of times that's what happens. It doesn't matter what fancy ideology if the day is used, some

I like this because its creative, but was relatively easy to implement. It didn't need a million hours of coding, just a text search for keywords (I'm oversimplifying a bit obviously). It let your brain do the heavy lifting to save on progr

Its a testament to his legacy that these "You are/not like/dislike Steve Jobs" articles keep popping up. Jobs is what you call an EXTREME OUTLIER. People like him come around once every 30 or 40 years. You don't compare outliers to the mean

Am I the only one that sees the author as just a little misdirected? On one hand, he bitches about not wanting to make startup founders rich by working shitty hours in an unstable work environment. I get that, I really do. However, he has

One of the most important qualities of an entrepreneur is resourcefulness. I'm not sure what your idea is or why it needs so much money, but thats a hurdle you'll have to jump yourself. Traction is most important, so find a way to get that.
